Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is an insult to the brain from an external mechanical force, leading to impairment in cognitive, physical and psychological functions with an associated diminished or altered state of consciousness.
Patients usually complaint of headaches, dizziness, blurry vision, double vision, difficulties with attention, memory and multitasking.
Once recognized and diagnosied we prescribe medications along with a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach (including physical, occupational, speech and vocational).
