An Ischemic Stroke is a sudden death of brain cells due to lack of oxygen caused by blockage of blood flow to the brain.

Hemorrhagic strokes occur by rupture of a blood vessel in or the surface of the brain with bleeding into the surrounding tissue.

We work together with patients in stroke prevention strategies including optimization of medications, life style changes, and a referral to a multidisciplinary therapy team which includes physical, occupational speech and vocational therapies.

Thank you so much for fitting us in today, don't know what we'd have done without you. My daughter is quite timid, but your doctor was brilliant with her.
